France Desjardins was the Executive Director of the Maison du Père and its Foundation in the late 2000s.
 

She has spent most of her career in the corporate world, including at Standard Life , in public affairs, and eventually as VP, National institutional sales. She has also worked in the manufacturing sector and the cultural sector, while serving on Boards such as the MSO, the Douglas Institute for mental Health and its Foundation . She now serves as member of the CIUSSS de l'Ouest de l'Ile de Montréal, where she chairs the governance committee.
 

She holds a Bachelor degree from University of Montréal, where she also pursued Master's level studies in literature. She also studied music at l'UQAM.
